AUTOMATIC CUT-OFF MACHINE
The manufacturing processes of Accu-cut end mills begin with high accuracy cut-off. The fully automatic cutting machine employs a diamond circular blade for cutting carbide rod to the desired length. The cut-off machine provides extremely flat surface cut result and minimum material loss.
AUTOMATIC CENTERLESS GRINDER
After the carbide rods have been cut to desired length, they are sent to the outside diameter grinder. Accu-cut uses high precision automatic centerless grinder to grind the outside diameter of carbide rods. With the excellent machine performance, the high accuracy of part roundness and cylindricity are guaranteed.
WORLD FAMOUS CNC TOOL AND CUTTER GRINDER
To ensure the Accu-cut end mills to present better performance and maximum geometry accuracy, Accu-cut has invested heavily in introducing the world famous CNC tool and cutter grinder into the production line. The top performance 8-axis controlled CNC tool and cutter grinder permits flute forming, grinding, regrinding, outside diameter grinding and end face grinding accomplished in one cycle. This assures maximum dependability of end mill accuracy.
The CNC tool and cutter grinder features automatic parts feed and automatic wheel change. This greatly increases our production efficiency while creating outstanding end mill quality.
MICRO ADJUSTING COLLET SYSTEM
At Accu-cut, we have a full understanding that the tool holding system is critical to the tool machining accuracy. To minimize the runout of end mill during machining, Accu-cut uses the most advanced micro adjusting collet system on the CNC tool and cutter grinder. It guarantees under 3 micron runout for tool during machining. Its reliable elimination of both radial and axial runout enables Accu-cut to achieve the best possible roundness and cylindricity for its end mills.
QUALITY CONTROL
Insisting on quality is a tradition at Accu-cut. Everything we do is to enhance the quality of Accu-cut end mills. In order to ensure Accu-cut end mills meet international standards of quality and present better performance than competitor’s products, Accu-cut not only employs the most advanced machining equipment but also invested in the sophisticated inspection instrument. We have set up a total quality control system to control end mill quality from start to finish. In-process inspection is conducted at each step throughout manufacturing process. For example, our quality control personnel picks the initial 5 to 10 workpieces for inspection to check if the production is normal or not.
The ball end mills are inspected by using a two dimensional tool image inspection system. The high resolution tool inspection sytem provides high accuracy inspection for bal nose contour and tool outside diameter.
Once the grinding wheel is dressed, it is then inspected by a 2.5 dimensional image inspection system. This advanced inspection system features high resolution, permitting high accuracy inspection for grinding wheel countour. With precision inspection on grinding wheel, high accuracy tool geometry is ensured.
